On December 7, the Barrington Lions celebrated the holiday season at the Barrington Glows event at Barrington Town Hall. We met many new friends and also sold some of our beautifully crafted Barrington Town Hall pewter ornaments.
November 2019
On November 2 we met new and old friends while serving refreshments at the Barrington Public Library Friends of the Library book sale event. Thank you to Brickyard Pizza, Squantum Association, and Vienna Bakery for donating treats for our refreshment table. Thank you to Barrington Books, Book Nerd, and Ink Fish Books for donating gift certificates for our Book Lover's raffle basket. We had a wonderful day!
September 2019
The Barrington Lions Club and Change for the Better, a local environmental community service group, partnered to clean up Haines Park. We collected 68 pounds of trash and recyclables. Top items collected were tennis balls, nicotine gum packaging, beverage cans, and dog poop bags. It’s disheartening that this much waste was in the park, but we are glad we were able to collect as much of it as we did.

The Barrington Lions Club collected 31 bicycles which were donated to Recycle-A-Bike and to Operation Stand Down RI's Pedal for Patriots to benefit local veterans.
